Thank you for attending MSR Asia Summit
We would like to thank you for attending and to congratulate you on the fact. We have all enjoyed the presentations. We hope to see you next summit.
MSR Asia Summit
Over the past decade, the Mining Software Repositories (MSR) community has grown at a tremendous rate. It has gained popularity since 2004 with the first instance of the MSR workshop and continues to be one of the fastest growing fields in the area of software engineering.
MSR community held Mining Summer School 2010 that provided students with opportunities to learn the background needed to excel in this emerging and important field.
Furthermore, MSR community has been given a unique opportunity to bring some of the world’s leading and upcoming researchers, and talented graduated students to discuss the near future of MSR.
MSR community held Mining Summer School MSR Vision 2020 that discussed about MSR’s future.
Nowadays, Japanese researchers are interested in MSR field. We decided to hold MSR Vision Japan, which is inspired by MSR Vision 2020. MSR Asia Summit encourages the exchange of ideas within the international community from MSR viewpoint with the expectation of furthering the more generic field of software engineering.
The key goals of MSR Asia Summit are to:
- Prepare the near future research of MSR.
- Provide a training venue for key MSR techniques and results.
- Provide a networking platform for new researchers, students, and leading researchers in the area.
- Provide a Dagstuhl-like setting for free-form focused discussions on MSR topics and its near future.
